PRUNE MOUSSE
INGREDIENTS:
1 CUP OF PRUNES
1/2 SOUPSPOON OF SUGAR
2 EGG WHITES
1 TEASPOON OF GRATED LIME RIND
1 SPOON OF ORANGE JUICE
METHOD:
1.
Beat the egg whites until stiff, add the sugar and the
prunes and beat lightly for a short time.
2.
Add the orange juice and the grated lime rind,
stirring lightly with a spoon.
3.
Pour into goblets and freeze for 30 minutes.
4.
Decorate each goblet with a whole stewed prune.
REMEMBER...
...
because prunes have a lot of fibre they help the bowel
movement. They can be eaten in moderation as part of
slimming diets (without sugar of course!) because they
are low in calories and fat.
If
you’ve got diarrhoea avoid eating prunes.
